The Latest issue of Los Angeles magazinehas the coolest article about the many colorful cities that make up the Deserts of Southern California. Easily the best issue of the magazine, in my humble opinion, that they have ever done.

Joshua Tree Vista

Covering everything from Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, Borrego Springs all the way to Death valley and leser known spots such as Amargosa Opera House and Tecopa Hot Springs. There is a great two page map with the highlights and many recommendations of places to stay and to eat.
