Public Schools:
The Palm Springs area (Coachella Valley) is broken up into two major school districts and they are:
Palm Springs Unified School District
Which is comprised of 16 elementary, 5 middle schools and 3 high schools in Palm Springs, Cathedral City and Desert Hot Springs.
Desert Sands Unified School District
Which is comprised of 20 elementary schools, 7 middle schools and 6 high schools from Rancho Mirage through Coachella.
Private Schools:
